how good/bad is the Alfa stuff??

Mart

The Alfa stuff.
Never had it running. Bought it off Al Stevens.
Engine was stuck but freed off, still free now. Head has been off, needs refitting with a new gasket. Timing chain needs refitting.
Dizzy needs new points, cap rotor etc.
Needs exhaust manifolds or headers making. Water pump turns ok. Needs alternator.
Has later starter adapted on.
Gearbox condition unknown but is complete. Has bellhousing and release fork. Have clutch cover and plate (might need a new plate)
Axle is in bits, all parts look serviceable, Just needs careful reassembly.

Mart, if Paul walks after your answers to him, I might be interested. I am in no hurry, will you ever be over for testing again in Lommel ? Or it has to wait until 2008 Essex Arena swapmeet. Would that be too much hassle ?
It will be a future motor/box for that belly tank I cannot get out of my mind....

Lemmeknow Mart.
cheers,
erwin
