Slick Mick Allen had a few problems with keeping his Henry J running when it came to the line. This time suffering the slow push backwards routine!

Mick was not alone, as having done a stonking burnout, I was shut down on the line by the start line crew and also joined the slow push backwards team!

With the problems seemingly solved Horrid Henry once again hit the strip

Unfortunately the problems were not quite cured. They were however finally traced to a battery not giving the required consistent 12 volts that the MSD needed

Excellent pics and a great write up - the only thing wrong with it is, it makes me want to own a gasser !

yeh i saw that,
tut tut........ strange that a lot of people confuse portsmouth and plymouth,
and i fixed the car , it was the hot rod drags that it was terminal.
