I heard a guy down the road from me had a Prefect but i never saw it untill yesterday. I was too shocked to run home and get the spanners to swap grills.

I reckon it must be Captain Scarlet's new ride. It is painted the corporate fleet colour isn't it Ian? ;)

LOL,i have been banned from having any more green cars, but i could make an exception, this is not a Prefect but a four door 7W i would guess at a 1937 more so than a 38,as it appears to have the MK1 three hole trims.
Interestingly, (or not) it was a publicity shot if a 7W in this colour that inspired me to put my Pop back to the original green back in 86.
Ian:)

Ian, how can you tell the difference in grills from a photo? I passed a tourer on the A303 not long back with a 3 slot grill. Common as muck down 'ere they be.

Hi Craig, does that mean the prices are lower LOL.
If you zoom in on the photo you will see that the vertical bars appear to slip behind the surrounding trim, whereas the with the MK2 trim, the vertical bars blended in to the surround.

Single slot is still in the que to be done. Got the rear out at the moment for a diff change then i'm going to finish off the 100E engine for the stocker. I'll get round to it at some point. Have you sorted all your engine problems ready for this year?
