Can't help but are you in need of an unused edelbrock performer inlet (cast finish), stock sump pan (like new) with gasket, and pair of factory 454 valve covers ((used but like new I think)? All...
Sorry, I can't help but I was curious as I didn't realise there was such a thing as 17mm DD shaft until I looked it up. Familiar with the 3/4" / 19mm stuff though. Learn something every day! What...
Ah yes, that'd be the pre dinner ****tails, wine and subsequent aperitifs talking. Oops. Only 3 swaps I concur. Horlicks time now too. Night Night!! Scotch on cornflakes in the morning - got to have...
Sounds almost more like 4 to me Dave, if you figure in the 2021 Northern Swap too???

Only 4!!!!!!! But better than the minus 2 where I currently am (the benefit of having a project to scrounge parts of off, but they eventually need replacing
!!!). I've searched high and low for...
Probably referring to Lakester headers.
Not sure if they're made for Rovers, but they are Buicks really so who knows!
Generic kits are available.
Chris
Fiddly? I suppose it is a bit, but it's rather satisfying! :) What were we talking about? ;)
Chris
ooooohhh! How many of the little slippery feckers are in such a kit? And a link to this quality (!) merchandise, please? I'll open the packaging once I'm inoculated! Under the internet rules...
You say metering rod, but there's 2 of them. Pedantry perhaps, but one is no good!! You might be better anyway getting a tuning kit (called a strip kit iirc) as they come with everything you may need...
Lost in the 70's! A nice place to be!
Chris
I rest my case!
Chris
I'd be kinda wary of replacing a single spring even with a used one, as they are theoretically matched pairs, and when in use should (again theoretically) get tired together. A pair of new springs...
I think John Reid has got them all stashed away someplace!
Chris
No, but if you're not a stickler for originality a Bedford Midi van tank fits remarkably well!
Chris
Oil rings???????? Not wanting to start discussion in the classifieds and i don't prophess to know everything, but if I'm perplexed I'd guess some others might be too, or maybe not! Free bump up for...
rockauto seems to suggest it's just a 1310 series joint. So pretty much common or garden stuff, nothing exotic / unobtainable?
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=387735&cc=1430690&jsn=609...
I've not had a spot for a long time. Would make me feel younger. How much for it? Do you have any more? Would help me get back into that 70's vibe - happier times indeed!
Chris
Very useful. Many thanks!
cheers
Chris
Car looks neat and good luck with the sale. I'd be interested to know more about the harnesses, particularly the old aircraft style latches, as I can't see anything resembling them on Sparcos...
Can't believe this isn't sold Steve! Car is better than the pics, inside and out and drives beautifully. Don't tempt me though!
And why is there a dead ferret on your truck?
Cheers
Chris
Model A's surely? Glass bodied. Ford approved as visitor attractions to dealerships.
Chris
I wonder if any actually made it over here? Who knows! Seems kinds illogical though as around that time the likes of YSR were knocking out Model A glass repops so a 'real' (sic) one from the US would...
Life is good! :)
Just need install pics now!
Chris
Sticks to the road like glue! :)
