Counting splines is a nightmare. Duksville have them and some cheaper on ebay so got options thanks.

Actually, it's not narrower...it is 54". It's a Dana from a Volvo Amazon. 5 stud Ford pattern. All brackets removed already.

Never had a 700 that needed an ecu.....the trans in the pic looks like a 700r4 to me....4l60e is much boxier casing.

Search for ss conical reducer on ebay and you should get a cone that can be heated and bent into the header tube shape.
