Looking forward to that to continue for a very long time!
Thanks Jay much appreciated mate especially from someone who's gone through what you went through recently.

Not as yet Neil but I have been likened to Mad Eye from Harry Potter mate.

Went for post op yesterday, Doc's happy with the way it's going and I'm aloud to resume a more normal if gentle life whilst I wait for the bubble to disappear. He feels I should get about 85% vision back which is excellent when you think 9 days ago I had fek all in it.

    Cheers Tim W.

You should have driven the Pop to City Road, I could have looked after it for you, driving around to save parking while you were in Moorfields!
Sorry to hear of your woes, wish you a speedy recovery.
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt",
but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

Thanks for the offer Ian, but my missus complains about pushing around the drive so pushing it to London is deffo a no go mate .
Thanks, it's getting clearer every week now.

That’s good news Tim, as for your thread, some things can never heal over, too much quality and ingenuity.

As above, take care mate, you only get one set of eyes . I was wondering only the other day if it was cold enough yet for you to do some more work outside on the car

Well I may be partially sighted, but I’ve still been tinkering…

As I’m running red rear lamps (old style) I thought it would be safer to have a 3rd brake lamp in the rear window.
So, I did a bit of one eyed CAD work and had these laser cut.

Then got them pressed and had the corners fused at work

Tried them on the lamp last night but I need a diffuser as well

Not sure which text size will be best?

Still it’s nice keeping my hand in!

That’s it for now, more when I do more.

    Cheers. Tim W.

It is Neil, that may well happen, I have a couple of pieces of polycarb with an NROB finish to try first.

Top for me too, have a look for some old ceiling lighting, either the flat recessed type or a tube diffuser, loads being chucked out when LED stuff gets fitted
