No garage, wet Sunday morning I'm wondering if I've picked the wrong hobby .

Got to admire you Tim what you do with no garage and hardly any workshop space.
oh god !!! thank goodness I don't have OCD
good too see your back at it Tim
be quiet when you leave.... mr munn lives right around the corner
I’ve done a wee bit more, re-profiled the rear arches and as I removed so much material, they became a wee bit flimsy, so I decided to add a return edge to stiffen them.
I got some 40 x 10 x 1.2 aluminium angle pressed at work and gently pulled it round to the required shape.
Folded
Then I riveted it on.
I fibre glassed inside an out, now due to the messy nature of my first real attempt at fibreglass work I didn’t get any pictures. And after it had gone off, I just forgot.
It went okay, I tidied it up with a grinder and a bit of filler to a standard that I was happy to prime coat.
I’ll fit them Friday when my grandson comes round, he can help and it may set him on the road to a new hobby.
That’s it for now, more when I do more.
Cheers. Tim W.
we gotta try and catch em when they're young tim, in between computer game sessions at least .
the wings look good with the 'bead' back round the arch
cheers, neil.
Nice work as always.

That's the trouble with the youth of today, you leave them alone for five minutes and they fit your hot rod wings
