    Ford Pop Project

Before I re-list this on ebay (winning bidder was a timewaster) I thought I would see if anyone on here is, or knows anyone who is, interested in it. I am never going to finish this and I don't want to become the old geezer who has an old car in the garage that I claim I will "restore" one day! I have lost all interest so want this to go to some new blood!!!!!

V5c present with 5.7litre engine recorded so no SVA worries. (please note that their is a Ford 3 litre V6 fitted and the reg number is not transferable)

Standard chassis - partially boxed at rear with steel bushes fitted for spring hangers - needs further boxing and strengthening along the rest.

All steel panels - all definitely repairable or use as is for ratrod - gutters have had repair panels welded in, just need finishing on outside.

Anglia 105e rear axle mounted on Anglia springs - escort diff (around 3.8:1 ratio) re-drilled jag 5 stud (currently 3 studs fitted in each driveshaft - need other two plugged and drilled) -

Reliant Scimitar front suspension and brakes - all tacked in place needing final welding (some temporary crossmembers in place for support) Steering mocked up and working.

Ford Essex 3 litre V6 engine and manual gearbox - all running fine when removed from the Scimitar Donor - mounted in place.

Ford Pop radiator - mounted in place.

Austin Montego pedal box - not mounted.

    New chrome headlights.

7x 15 steel rear wheels with brand new tyres fitted.

5.5 x 15 steel front wheels with good tyres fitted (comes with another 2 wheels and tyres as wheels on car have the mounting holes elongated for mock-up).

A set of 4 brand new 15 inch chrome trim rings (never fitted).

A set of chrome brand new "baby moon style" hub caps (never fitted).

Complete Reliant Scimitar wiring loom, gauges and switches.

Unfortunately I do not have any glass or interior parts apart from 2 original Pop seats in poor condition.

It also has a Reliant Scimitar Master Cylinder, Brake Servo and Calipers. There is a prop shaft included as well.

This is a good start for a budding rod builder. It owes me about £1600 so far for all the bits I have bought so I want to get as much back as I can. Looking for £1250 ono. Send PM or call me on 07974 267978. Cheers, Duncan.
