    1949 Mercury

I imported this car by myself in 2007 from Knoxville, Tennesee. Since I have owned it I have added/completed a full top end refurbishment of the original flathead Merc engine, including all new valve gear, camshaft, re-furbed waterpumps, battery, NOS vacuum windshield wiper motor that actually works, remote Hildebrand oil filter and stainless lines, Edelbrock aluminium heads, new clutch plate, original Eddie Meyer Hi-Rise inlet manifold, Fenton exhaust headers, refurbed twin Holley 97 Carbs, petronix electronic ignition unit. The black paintwork is excellent as is the interior. and Mellissa Gee has done her magic in pin striping the trunk lid. Original and working spot lights and Carson sun visor.

This is a rare chance to own a very special car that is rarely seen on this side of the pond!!
