    Jaguar IRS LSD

    Evening all ,
    looking for information on the Jaguar LSD , what components wear out causing noise ?

    Bit of a hard one too answer, but basically any moving part, bearings and crown wheel and pinion are the first to be noticeable. Don't rule out the incorrect oil as it's LSD specific

    Is it one that's become noisy,or have you just bought a Pop with a Jag irs LSD ?

    If it makes a noise when moving, even slowly, then it's probably low or out of fluid. Mine did when we moved it around during a workshop move (50yds) but once filled with the correct fluid for an LSD it was fine.
