    hot rod willys

i thought i would start a build thread on here, been registered for a while but only just got round to becoming a member.
i bought this as an unfinished project from over on the dark side, and my plan is to build a replica of the grey primered willys coupe from the film hotrod.
with its nose in the air, daisy mags on the back, steels on the front, a hemi under the hood, and that distinctive paintjob, heres how i got it

the body has been outside for 10 odd years and its got a box section chassis

currently its set up low as a pro streeter

but its on its way up,this is just a mock up pic, chassis mods are order of the day to sort the ride height out

I was aiming at keeping the lower body line level with the axle centres, but I'm miles away from that.
Perhaps a couple of inches up at the front will be enough.
