    Collecting parts...

This was an amazing find! It's an original, brand new, Aluminum SBC block made by GM about 25-30 years ago. It's been sitting in Denny's garage for a few decades waiting for called up for duty!

I was glad to see that Weiand had introduced a larger street supercharger for the SBC.

She looks very complete and in very good condition there Jay, a nice `find`, as are the aluminum block and blower, both of which should help the e.t.s to the grocery store .
Keep us posted on the progress, Jay ...

From Jay`s `trailer` photo it looks like it`s not been touched since being bought on E.bay and imported some years ago Steve!. Obviously imported still wearing it`s original UK plate, my guess would be the original importer, Denny Hummel, just hadn`t got round to registering it in the U.S.!.
A lot of British classics (Jag`s, Roll`s, etc) get exported to the US but still wear their original UK plates even after being US registered...

Not that it's important, but Denny did title the Pop in Michigan and got a "historical" plate for it. He got it insured and drove around a bit before parking it. A couple people have asked me what I plan to do with that license plate. They like to have it.

Still trying to find a crank so pistons can be ordered. I'm surprised that so many manufacturers have little to no inventory.

If they intend to fit it on a Brit import (Jag etc), it`s like having part of it`s UK heritage. Some guys do it here in the UK with imported US cars.
Good luck with finding a bottom end Jay ...

I can't believe it's this hard to find a crank in stock! Everything is backordered ( from China of course) with no delivery date. Grrrr

Finally some progress to report. Fatman IFS is welded up and Ford rear from Strange Engineering is awaiting its turn. Today is boxing day, frame boxing that is!

Progress update. Front half of the frame is boxed with 3/16" plate and engine and transmission are set in place ready for mount fabrication.

Good progress there Jay. You appear to have quite a bit of setback on the motor/trans, or is it just the angle of the photo`s?...

Possibly a little more than the norm due to the supercharger drive clearing the radiator. The front face of the block is 5" behind the front axle centerline.

Hi Jhonny, this is going to be a great build

FEB 821 would have been registered in the same area, probably same Ford dealership, and around the same time as this rodded Pop back in the 70's 'Mr Popstar' ?

    Spooky,well ,spookyish

That is a bit eerie isn't it?
I could use some input /suggestions on a radiator. What do you folks use? Is there a make/model of a particular production car that is available?
