WOW! That was a long time ago! I built the Cotton Picker in like 30 days. The order was from Dodge after Nascar banned the Hemi. They didn't want to lose Cotton Owens and David Pearson from Dodge. Worked the last three days around the clock to get it done. Then they called and got me out of bed to test drive it. Took it to a local private airstrip. The Interstate Highway was along side of the airstrip. I added more Nitro for what turned out to be the last run as traffic nearly came to a stop. Police came and suggested we call it a day!

    Test day

I wish you the very best. Hope it clears up soon. I'm battling what appears to be a not so good cataract surgery!

Yesterday we attended a very nice show about 100 miles from home. Weather was excellent as was he food offered by many vendors. Over 800 cars attended and we were surprised to win a very nice trophy and $250 cash!

Sad to say this. My dear wife Diana has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer. Her Oncologist told us that she, in her 10 years here, had never seen this type. The battle begins Wednesday 7/10. any and all prayers appreciated.

    My thoughts are with her.

I'm 2 years clear from throat cancer, so be positive & strong & set a goal to reach.

My goal was to drive my Roadster to the Supernats, & I did it.

Who cares If It's glass or steel, It's still a hot rod.

    Not the best update.
Diana continues the battle. 13 rounds of chemo and one surgery. She has a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. Her Oncologist in 10 years of practice has never encountered this type before. Two major cancer centers in he US have nothing to offer. It is too rare for any studies (no money in it)!

She was feeling a bit better one day so we went for a spin and I let her drive (the hair is a wig)

    Best to you all, Jay
