    cheers for the comments ^^^^
    .
    on to today,
ive had an idea for a while for adjustable wheelie bar mount, i honestly thought this up!! so please dont ruin it by telling me they have been available for years..lol
    .
i tend to keep my templates, so i had this all ready from the Cannon...
    .

    .
very rough mock up, but it seems to work !!

    .
managed to save the pads i'd made on for the Cannons axle.
    .

    .
    in the up position.
    .

    .
i dont seem to have a " down " pic,
Going back down after tea so will get a couple more........

Honkys the same and "seems" fine so far......
Mike, the chassis WILL flex. They just do. The motor limiters must be really strong and the gearbox mount must be allowed to flex for and aft. If you take the gussets out so it is just like a bit of angle that will be enough.

Blimey how do I explain? ... On the trans mount cross member you have a bracket that the trans bolts to, it is basically like a piece of angle with two fill in pieces to strengthen it. Well if you take them out so it looks a bit weak. That will allow a bit (tiny) of fore and aft movement to take the stresses out of the tail housing.

    ETA..
Sorry if that came across a bit like I was putting you down, I meant it was actually hard for ME to explain!

    .
one of the things i hated on the Cannon was the narrow and pi55ed wheelie bars, hopefully better this time.
