Fair do's if the customer likes the square edge style, but the whole car 'flows' so nicely the screen being of straight lines jars with it in my eyes. I've never built a screen surround but if it had a bit of a bow over the top edge and was a little bowed at the bottom edges of the upright it might/would look a bit more in keeping?
Maybe just radiusing the top corners might also do it?

Of course the top bow might make any roof harder to fit

Possibly might look a little better (to me) if it were a tad taller too?

All just my views on it of course - not my car so it's what the owner likes at the end of the day.
Mark, it actually has a slight bow in it more by accident than design as it pulled when I welded it!
We like the low height as it looks mean..... if it proves too low in use, it bolts on so not a huge deal to go bigger.
The material it is made from does have pretty square edges but when it gets polished I expect to lose some of that.

The basic shape is 32 style and they are all flat laterally so who knows...
I tried a curved screen on this when it was mine years ago and it looked awful.....

Just read this all the way through, very impressive skills.
We're still waiting to see grill, roof etc.
Will it be at Supernats this year?
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt",
but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!
