    Land Rover Series steering box

Land Rover series II steering box:

i was going to go cowl steering and now going cross steer so selling the steering box.

the alloy body is polished and there is a custom made polished finned aluminium plate for the box.
the rocker shaft has been cut, an extension piece made that threads in both sides that can be adapted to your length required before welding.
new gaskets, bearings, ball bearings and seals included.
bolts, drain plug, adjuster and lock nut have been chromed.
shims, bearing holders are all there, as is the steering shaft, outer column and drop arm (which i forgot to put in the photo).
there is no bearing the top of the steering column.

it needs to be rebuilt obviously. they're getting rare and expensive plus a lot of time, effort and money spent, however, it's cheap at:

    £140 plus postage
paypal, cheque or cash on collection.
