    NSRA FUN RUN EVENT UPDATE
    FRIDAY 2ND - SUNDAY 4TH JUNE 2017

The NSRA Fun Run...by the sea - Great Yarmouth 2017

Following on from the main announcement, we wanted to give you a few updates on the NSRA Fun Run.

Camping booking for the Fun Run is now open for everyone and you have until the 1 May 2017 to pre-book your camping. All camping at the main show site, Great Yarmouth Racecourse, must be pre-booked and a booking form is available for download from http://www.nsra.org.uk/fun-run/.

Due to the limited capacity of the site, we will be unable to guarantee space for any non-pre-booked camping units that turn up on the day of the event.

We are still considering overflow camping options and will give further information on this in due course.

Weekend camping is charged at £25.00, per unit, and includes one car. Additional cars will be charged at £5.00, per vehicle - this can be pre-booked on the booking form or paid upon arrival. Please note that the weekend camping price DOES NOT include the event admission fee — this is payable upon arrival at the site.

Arrival from midday on Thursday 1st June is for NSRA Members only and strictly no camping before Thursday 1st June or overnight on Sunday 4th June.

As space is limited on the campsite, we do ask that you are considerate when placing gazebos and do not take up too much space.

Next to the Racecourse site is Haven Seashore Holiday Park for those of you wishing to hire a static caravan for the duration of the event. If you have already made a reservation here, or are about to, when phoning let the holiday park know that you are with the NSRA and they will group the Hot Rodders together. As the event is based in and around a town, those not wanting to camp, can choose from hundreds of different accommodation options from B&B’s to hotels. If you need some help deciding where to stay, check out http://www.great-yarmouth.co.uk/where-to-stay/ which has some great options!

Once you have arrived on site, you will need to park up and wander over to the NSRA Hospitality Pavilion. Here you will fill in your registration form, pay your weekend event entry fee and collect your wristbands and mug. ALL Fun Run participants will need to do this, regardless of whether you are camping onsite or not. Weekend event entry prices are charged at £20.00 per adult. 17 & under’s are free of charge.

Don’t forget that the official Fun Run merchandise will be on sale in the NSRA Hospitality Pavilion so pick up your official event T-shirt during the weekend!

Friday will be the usual set-up day, chill out on the beach or explore the local area, catch up with friends and enjoy the onsite evening entertainment. On Saturday, we will be taking a sightseeing cruise of the beautiful Norfolk coastline and visiting some of the local attractions. The afternoon will then end up with a spectacular Show ‘n’ Shine along the seafront with entertainment outside the Joyland American Diner. Then it’s back to Racecourse for more live music! Sunday is the main Show ‘n’ Shine day at the Racecourse finishing with the traditional NSRA prize giving presented in front of the Racecourse grandstand.

The NSRA Trader Village will also be open throughout the weekend – if you would like to book a trade stand at the show then please contact Andy Sawyer on nsra.trade@nsra.org.uk for more details.

If you are unable to make the whole weekend, you can also come along on Saturday or Sunday. Saturday public entry is charged at £5.00 per adult, 17 & under’s - free of charge. Sunday show cars are charged at £5.00 per person in vehicle including the driver. Car and 17 & under’s - free of charge. Sunday public entry is £10.00 per adult. 17 & under - free of charge.

    Venue Directions
Great Yarmouth Racourse, Jellicoe Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 4AU.
The Racecourse is situated to the north of Great Yarmouth towards Caister. From the North and Midlands the Racecourse can be reached via the A47, the main Southern approach roads are the A11 (joining the A47 South of Norwich) and the A12 via Colchester, Ipswich and Lowestoft. On arrival at Great Yarmouth follow Yellow AA signs to the Racecourse.
