1935 ford coupe project - £5250 ono. SOLD

1935 ford coupe project. Comes with four steel fenders which need work. Also comes with 36 hood and grill and good steel trunk lid and rear panel replacement section. USA title and nova letter showing all duty paid. I also have the remains of a uk 37 ford with v5 registered in my name for approx six years so doing a re body under uk rules should be straightforward as 35-39 chassis are all the same. There's no engine or gearbox.
i haven't looked at this for approx two years and have absolutely no interest in anything automotive now, so priced to sell. £5250 ono.Name: image.jpg

Ive seen this shell and I will say that for something that is 80 odd years old it is very very good. It was on my doorstep so to speak so it would have been daft not to look. I had to much on my plate and it was more of a full on project than I could cater for having several others on the go.. rear pan section to replace the void was in good condition and if I remember rightly the floors were all intact and in decent condition. I really don't remember there being any really significant welding repairs needing done and no repairs had ever been done to it ... From memory the chassis had been boxed and needed x members welding back in .. I had to be sensible and not allow myself to be sucked in but if I was really in the market for a 35/36 project I would have been all over this ..

Possibly a less truthful advert would have worked ? Something like" only needs minor repairs , put an engine and box in and enjoy the patina £15,000 ...seems to work for many? I struggled to sell a couple of mine recently because they presumed the truth meant I was hiding something, the other was 'too cheap' so must be something wrong with it ??
