    Thanks everyone, I am very pleased with how it is coming together.

    It is a bit rough but this is the plan for cutting out the door jamming and moving it forward to make the B Pillar

    that looks about right simon, the upper vertical cut needs to be at the highest point of the curve in the opening so the infill is more or less horizontal. your marked cut line was obviously just a rough indication of course. it's gonna be just like the 'rendering'

    If you make the lower horizontal cut above the bead, dropping just before the door jamb, there would be a straighter bead from the door back to there, where it starts to curve down?
