Hi from me.
I have a bunch of old cars but the 2 most applicable here would probably be my 41 ford 3/4 tonne stepside and my 23 model T The Boston Strangler.

welcome to the site
Good to see the Strangler again,it used to pound the streets near me in the Midlands back in the late 70's .
What is it with these old guys that go to shows and think they can just get into anybody's car
Don’t think so Al,you must enlighten me when we meet up next
There was a tale of him going across the traffic lights in Burntwood with the front wheels in the air ,whilst travelling with Andy’s C cab.
It's great to see pictures of the T again Colin, a great piece of British hot rod history.
For your benefit (and Ian's), Terry was en route to Billing and stopped to get fuel. On returning to the T, he found someone else 'trying the driver's seat for size'.
Without saying a word, he hopped into the guy's car and proceeded to make suitable 'brum, brum' noises. Said guy's wife and kids all went hysterical and he returned to demand what Terry thought he was playing at? Terry calmly explained that only he wanted to try his car out for size too, before hopping back into the T and continuing on his merry way!!
Bet it was Maurice again
I have to claim poor memory there Al ,I had heard the story before and forgotten it,but good to be reminded of it
