yep, water pumps looked ok with no wear & bolt in waterway not corroded, but when off impellers were rusty & would have reduced the flow so got 2 new revised ones off jim at royal customs
rad now back (another £375 gone) Stromberg dizzy & new leads fitted. water pumps off new ones on the way from jim at Royal + new eng/gbox mounts. engine half painted & started closing the many random holes in the bulkhead.

yep thats my old 38 sedan it is a great car
that 38 was a beauty! what have you got on the go now fred?
I had a moment of weakness, don't tell the wife but its too late now! & got the next project. think I will just run this around until the 38 is on the road. its got a Mitchell synchro box with better ratios & mechanically A1 so may just look for some 35 wires for now.
Hey pal the standard coupe grill is the propper hot rod grill without a doudt, anyway ive got the 37 95% finished but its stalled Im just waiting for my son to finish the wiring.Im hoping to have it ready for next season. So to keep me ticking over I bought a 55 tbird for the wife and its a cutie, done a few shows with it and won a couple of pots.Oh nearly forgot a bought a 1960 el camino I thought it would be a quick lick over but true to form Ive gutted it and frame is due back tomorrow so i can get the rolling chassis sorted this week.I post some pics when I can ,cheers Fred
fitted led indicators & front bumper away for chroming, + gave it a run round the block to see how it goes always a nervous moment! ran well electric fan cut in at correct temperature, no nasty noises just the sound of the flathead V8.
hey Brian hope you are well, the car is coming on very well soon be all suited and booted hope theres gonna be somewhere to go to show it off .Cheers Fred
