    1963 AMC Rambler bagged build

Hello! I’m Jacob, 19 with Bit of an unusual one, and this is my first ever take at any kind of street rod/drag car thing!
So it started life as a 1970 Reliant Scimitar GTE with the 3.0l Essex v6, I have slowly been getting it running reliably and sorting some mechanicals.

I have recently removed the old seized sliding sunroof and stitched up a can easily popper roof. Sat it on some nice adjustable coilovers and began undersealing/painting parts including the full car!

The plan from now is to raise the front abit more, get Perspex red windows on the sides along with putting in a cage. On the side I am slowly building up a rover v8 to go in it, with open pipes

Any sources for Perspex sheet? Also on the lookout for some 4x114 steels as I’m sure on these current wheels!
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!Name: IMG_1556.jpg

Please remove if it’s not suitable however I am a NSRA member and do hope to attend some events when it’s running abit more reliably!

Like that, can see it with ramstacks through the bonnet when you get the Rover in. Also look up Perry Stevenson on drag racing websites,he has an MGBGT which had a Rover in, eventually got into the 9s, now getting a Chevy V8.

Aha, I’ve got a little reverse scoop on order for now but I like the sound of ram stacks! And thank you, I will do! Sounds pretty cool!

    Hello all,

    A small update not much!
Got the scoop in the post so spent most the day getting that put on.
    Hopefully
Next weekend I’ll be getting my wheels balanced and new brake pads all round so I can go fast without wobble and stop!Name: IMG_3503.jpg
