NOW SOLD . .1937 Ford Buisness Coupe All Steel ) £28,250 . Bristol area .
Correctly registered , been in the UK for 12 years and a hotrod for over 40 .
Mine for the past 7 years but lack of use 7,000 in 7 years and less than 300 miles last year ,I think it's time to sell it on .
In my ownership it's had almost a total rebuilt , new floor , braking system , steering , front suspension , top half of the 350 Chevy engine , rewire , complete upholstery , stainless exhaust system ( excluding headers ) , fuel tank and much more ( receipts to show ) .
All engineering work carried out by Merv Barnett and interior by Custom Coach Trimming .
Front suspension Mustang 2 , gas shocks , cut down springs . Rear suspension 1957 Chevy on leaf springs .
Engine 350 Chevy , ali heads , Edelbrock carb , cam and inlet manifold .Full Pertronix ignition system . Gearbox TH350 using a Lokar shifter .
Paintwork looks great in the pictures but up close has a lot of Patina due to most of it being over 40 years old .
Lots of unusual ideas as I did the car to suit me , all warning lights hidden in the original 37 Ford radio facia , which also operates the radio / CD player and the heater . Interior lights on a timer , twin charging sockets , twin independent electric wipers , halogen lights and electric seats . Removable towbar wired to the new style 13 pin plug socket .
I've priced the car to sell as one of the whitewalls needs replacing ( still legal though ) and a couple of panels need a bit of work . This I can get done if required ( and the paint would match ) but I would like more for the car .
Well over £35,000 invested with an NSRA valuation of £40,000 .
Pics to follow ,
