**** that makes me feel old, but kinda good!
Worked for me but Wal Barters (car) did it for me, and the feature gal wasn't too shabby either.
Whatever happened to those, good old, better days? Said on a day in 2019 when 15 year old Wimbledon new superstar has been, almost pornographically at times, pimped out by the BBC. Strange old world eh?

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.
For me Hot “n” Bothered but have to say Small Fry a close second!!

Small Fry, I read the build write up a thousand times in CC decades ago, pored over every photograph, definitely an icon.
Revenge, another of my favourites too.
Polygamy is having more wives than you really need.
Monogamy is essentially much the same thing.
Small fry, hot and bothered, pinball wizard to name a few for me.
Totally, agree with you Russ and hats off to you for bringing Small Fry back to life again, when it so easily could of been broken up and lost forever. I to have read and re-read the build articles time and time again and been to show after show to see this car. This car came on to the scene around the time I became interested in Hot/Sreet Rods, mid to late seventies and for me the reason I think it is so speacial is it was built at a time when it wasn't so easy to accuire parts from the US, but uses mostly readily available items from these shores, possibly not the Hesketh uprights, but body, drive train, wheels etc. Credit also to John Baldacchino and Richard Whale for having the imagination, innovation and skill to put it together. The only thing that I feel is a shame is that it never got its original paint scheme back.

Eddie Wimble's Outlaw for me!
Nick Butler's Andromeda for me. In it's time world class. I always remember it 'appearing' in the Dave Bell cartoon in Street Rodder magazine.

Agree ref the paint, i opted for Ford Azure Blue, was criminal rubbing down the Regal Blue Candy and the stripping but it had reacted with the Black that the previous owner put on it. I just couldn't run to doing it the original colour scheme but yea it would be great to see it painted how it was.

As a kid, Revenge was the one. A real caricature of a 70s thing, all that excess, sparkle and wackiness. There was also a certain famous candy red model B roadster with a , wow, Impala engine. It was in HotCar and a picture of that had pride of place on my wall for a while. As time went on I saw an article about Low Flyers, and that tipped me to the world of back to basics hotrods. stuff you could actually aspire to owning. Who was the first of them?

As to Low Flyers cars - Maybe it is not 'iconic' to most on here, but this is the one that I believe influenced so many people, (including me). It drew me from going to rod runs in a '50's classic' to wanting to actually own a rod myself. I just love the way it sat, the positioning of the headlamps, engine filling the bay, the colour, the screwdriver windscreen support, the rawness, the bare back to basics look. -A truly fun hot rod that looked within reach of folk like me!
It later became a roadster, still nice but lost something for me (roof & colour), but still looked fun!
Another 'iconic'? rod for me was Bernie Chodosh's '32 -
