bonded screen in a glass car

just wondered if anyones bonded their front screen in on a fibreglass car, as opposed to a rubber, weve been out a couple of times in the willys and the heavens have dumped there finest on us and we get water come in the corners of the screen.
    cheers

    cheers john
i gave our windscreen fitter a call today, he says you can bond a screen in a glass car, but its better to keep it in the rubber and seal it up with the sealant that does not set fully. he recommended a sealant called arbormast which I have ordered off ebay, will give that a go,
    cheers

My '66 Nova has a screen rubber and not a bonded screen like all other GM cars from the 60s had,
its often said it was due to the body not being as rigid and with a screen rubber less likely to crack the screen,
same goes for a fibreglass body that will often have more flex than steel,
i'd keep the rubber if mine,
Lee valley screens in w/abbey are pretty good, why not get them round to do a reseal?

I think sticking it in aint a problem. It's what happens if your screen brakes and your got to remove it.
