NSRA Southern Swap Meet 2020
SUNDAY 8th MARCH 2020
The 31st NSRA Southern Swap Meet
NORTH WEALD AIRFIELD, MERLIN WAY, EPPING, CM16 6HR
Our rodding events calendar opens with our huge outdoor swapmeet and autojumble – from a window winder to a complete car, this is the place to buy and sell new, used and vintage auto parts and accessories!
Following a successful first event, we are excited to be returning to North Weald Airfield in 2020. The entry issues faced in 2019 have been looked at and we are pleased to confirm that the public entry system is being completely revised to alleviate congestion problems.
Public admission will now be via Gate B. You will be asked to park up and pay on foot at a kiosk when the event opens. NSRA official marshals will be directing you in the car parking area so please follow the instruction of all signage and marshals.
Please keep an eye on the NSRA website for further details and updated information.
PUBLIC ADMISSION - Entry is via GATE B and directed into public parking area
The public gate will open at 9.30am. You will be filtered asked to park up and pay on foot at a kiosk – similar to the admission system at Arena Essex. Please prepare yourself with the correct cash and relevant membership card(s) to aid the NSRA crew.
Catering vendors will be available before you enter and once you are in the main enclosure.
Entry prices are £5.00 per NSRA member on production of a valid membership card (fridge magnets are not acceptable!), and £10.00 per non-NSRA member. Children 17 and under are free.
As North Weald is an active airfield, there are strict rules on rubbish. Do not litter, please use the bins provided or take your rubbish home.
TRADERS ADMISSION - Entry is via GATE B and directed up slip road to trade area
Traders admission is from 7.30am on the morning of event.
Pre-book your trade pitch to benefit from FAST TRACK ENTRY on the day. Booking forms are available for download at http://www.nsra.org.uk/southern-swapmeet/. On the day entries will be held back until the Fast Track entry has cleared.
Cut-off date for trade pre-booking is Friday 29th February 2020.
Vendors are to refrain from trading before 9.30am as this allows for uninterrupted set up. It is also fairer on buyers and vendors alike.
Please also be aware that all trade pitches are in the open and overnight camping is not available.
There is a no vehicle movement policy in the trade area before 1pm on the day of the event. When you are ready to leave, please come and find an NSRA official who will marshal you out of the trade area. Please also ensure that you have put all your rubbish in the bins provided or take it home with you.
For all trade enquiries, please contact Andy Sawyer on nsra.trade@nsra.org.uk

The rodding season opener, the NSRA Southern Swap Meet, is just 3weeks away and its all go behind the scenes here at NSRA HQ! Its a great event to get out, clear the winter cobwebs (and hopefully stay dry!!) and meet up with friends you haven't seen since last year.
The entry issues faced in 2019 have been looked at and we are pleased to confirm that the public entry system is being completely revised to alleviate congestion problems. Public entry will be via GATE B and you directed into the public parking area.
You will be asked to park up and pay on foot at a kiosk – similar to the admission system at Arena Essex that you are all familiar with. Please prepare yourself with the correct cash and relevant membership card(s) to aid the NSRA crew.
Catering vendors will be available before you enter and once you are in the main enclosure, and the public gate will open at 9.30am.
For all traders entry is also via GATE B and you will be directed up slip road to trade area.

After a long journey to the Nationals last year, I was disappointed to find that there were no toilets in the carpark before the entrance gate.
As a person of a certain age......will there be one at this event please? (After a long trip, every second counts!)
