    Early Jago 'T'

Help needed please. I'm trying to find some history/photo's of a what is believed to be Geoff's first 'T' which
was shown at Earls Court in around late '60s or early '70s. I'm led to believe it may have been painted Pink
or some such colour so may have been a Candy. Being this colour may make it stand out in someone's memory.
I don't have a Reg. number for it yet but it may have been shown before it was registered anyway.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Geoffs first T hit the road in 1967 and was green and straight 6 powered . He supplied many others with bodies by the early 70s' and the only pink that springs instantly to mind hit the road in 72 . That was pink flake and daimler v8 powered.

Pink Flake......... at least in confirms what we have been told. Just hoping that someone has a photo.

Further to my earlier post, we now find the reg. No. was NLO 96K and was first registered in July '72.
At some point it was fitted with a 1500cc engine and painted Maroon if that may trigger a memory.

According to the "guru & fountain of all knowledge" Nick Pettitt, Geoff's first St6 powered T bucket was on the road in 65 (found in a search for Jago on this forum!).

As I put above you could just use the original number back then. Most early Jagos were kit style and were build with Anglia / Cortina /Classic etc so they'd have used the original number .

To get a new number , as Geoff and Tony did on their T's , you had to pay Purchase Tax ( precursor to VAT ).

They used to run Jan to December but at E they went Jan to August that year and August to August ever afterwards ( old system).
