    Kenlowe fan problem

Hi folks, fitted a kenlowe fan to my rover v8 a few years back, the fan is fine, the problem is were the metal probe goes into top radiator outlet, kenlowe provided an orange coloured rubber hose that fits around outlet pipe, but mine has split and broke. See pics. Anyone know what I could use as a replacement? Cheers.IMAG0591_1.jpgIMAG0594_1.jpg

I made one once, just a slice of rubber sheet shaped with a sharp knife. It worked well enough. Use a dab of silicon just to be double safe.

Glass/ double glazing places use a similar product to stop glass units sticking together

Silicone sealer around the rad neck before you put the hose on, Sikaflex/ tiger seal works aswell.
