    April Street Gasser

The printers have done the business and now its over to the Post Office, as the April issue of Street Gasser entered the postal system today. This issue was slightly delayed as decisions on events were being taken. I trust your patience will pay off, and that you all enjoy the mag when it arrives. Now onto the next one.

Only one page in so far and already so many questions. The flight numbers are ridiculous, and with the Covid-19 debacle meaning a huge reduction in passenger flights you would think there would be a temporary respite of air pollution, but operators continued to fly near empty and sometimes entirely empty planes around so that they didn't "lose their landing spot" at the airport. F******g insane or what?!

As for the legislation to eradicate internal combustion engines; countries all over the world have reported enormous drops in air pollution, particularly in congested cities, during this outbreak as people who "can work from home" do so. It's left me questioning why the people who are able to work from home very easily (of which the majority of my mates are now doing with almost no impact on their work capabilities), why do they need to drive to "work" 5 days a week if it's simply not needed? Do all your work at home and only go in if you need to. Obviously that's a monumental change of business plan for any company but with the huge reduction in pollution, it would hopefully mean more leniency to hobbyists and also much less congested roads for those who actually need to use them.

For now, drive your hotrod while you still can.

Just read mine and a good read as usual, but that Chevy Suburban and the suggestion it is somewhat unique because of the door arrangement...I'm pretty sure they were all built like that???

I work for a company heavily involved in reducing pollution from engines. They are so clean now you can almost sit in the garage and fail to top yourself!
As for working from home? TOTALLY AGREE, I work from home 4 out of 5 days, and lately even before this crisis was at home 3 weeks and never saw our office building. Why travel to an office to do exactly the same thing as you can do at home?

Oh! And got my Gasser, nice to see what I missed at the swap meet while in the office building.

I know you think you believe you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what I said isn't always what I meant.
