Excellent,I shall save that one of my Pop in silver and red and yes, i do still have the car on the its road now green.

Its pictured alongside Martin Wyatts yellow Ford Econoline, unfortunately that truck rotted away years later and was scrap.

Stuart Taberer’s model T (whereabouts not known) pictured next to Colin Pugh’s Morris Traveller woodie (i don’t think that survived)

Ken Stamps 32 RV8 pick up truck,it’s had a few owners since but still out there.

All Mid England Roadsters members at the time .

    thanks for posting

The photo was taken either 1981 or 1982, i may be able to narrow it down further, fellow MER member Al may well be along soon ,what do you think Al ?

I didnt have the three hole grill on until 1981,and i definitely had the bonnet grills painted black in 83,possibly even 82,i am fairly sure that it is most likely 1981.

Well I'm new to this, but with so much time on my hands like I said on russes page I've got a job with weekends off and Bank Holidays. For the first time in 30 years. I will get a copy made and see how it turns out but you are more than welcome to the original one. I must admit I need my sons help to get started.

Can't really help on the date of the Long Marston photos Ian, 81 sounds about right, but one thing I do know is that Stuart Taberer had sold his T by 1984 to Norm Southerton of Hay Mills in Birmingham. I found my old Bingley Hall show programme for 1984 and it's listed in there. Norm was a DJ I seem to recall and I think he had a wild painted Ford Corsair that was a Bingley Hall regular. I know Stuart's son was trying to tack the T down a good few years ago and I passed the details to him. At that time, there was a N Southerton still on the electoral roll, living just of the Coventry Road in Birmingham but I don't know if anything came of that lead.
