    Welding

Hi I’m after a welding machine that does arc.and tig what’s good cheers

I think any inverter welder will do both.
If it's got tits or tyres, it's gonna be trouble.

Regarding the machine to choose, depends on what materials your going to weld and budget you have
If your going to Tig mostly and welding aluminium and the like an AC inverter machine would be the choice. If more arc, then a DC one will do both, but not as adaptable. If you go for a DC machine, try and get one that has a hs start (no need to flash the electrode) it would be a better choice.
From other discussions with my limited knowledge try and stay away from cheap chinese, buy British or German (No doubt they will have chinese parts) you will get a back up service when needed

Thanks bud for your input. All my welder have been from machine mart and always been great. So Iv purchased a upgrade arc/ tig which has the anti stick mode which is brilliant. So I’m very happy thanks.
