    Rear Window sealing

    Hi,
    yes,
me again and again with something very simple

now I have a new rear window rubber sealing for the Pop and itlooks like this

    https://www.bilder-upload.eu/bild-21...37436.jpg.html

    1- Window
    2- Body of the Pop
    3 - ?? rain seal?
if I do it this way I have a VERY large rubber edging and the window is outside the car.
reversed I have the rain sealing on the inside - somewhat illogical
so witch side of the sealing is outside?

the window goes inside. the extra lip under the glass channel covers the edge of the interior trim. and yes it's illogical.

Make sure to use a sealant - search for Arbomast https://www.dortechdirect.co.uk/arbo...ndscreens.html. If you don't use this (in all the rubbers) it will leak.

yes you do, the first full pop build i did donkey's years ago i fitted the glass and rubbers using washing up liquid as a lubricant. the front screen used to blow bubbles around it's edges every time i was out in the rain (it was my daily).

Put a good amount of sealant in the groove where the glass goes, then fit the rubber to the glass.
    Fit glass to car.

Then push nozzle under the seal to the body and pump more sealant under the rubber all the way around.

Remove excess sealant with a plastic scraper. Wipe off excess with panel wipe (de-greasing solution from a paint shop) Repeat a few days later when more sealant gets squeezed out.
