    Rear axle for my shoebox

Hi everyone. I’ve discovered the diff in my 1950 Ford shoebox is past it and not worth rebuilding. So I’m on the hunt for either another diff ore a compleat rear axle. Doesn’t have to be a shoebox rear end as long as it’s compleat, usable and not going to take to much cutting about to make it fit.
so what you got laying round in your sheds...?? Haha
    thank you.

I now have a 67 mustang in mine , just 1/4 inch wider but meant I couldn't fit my skirts , though now have Plymouth wheels with different offset which sorted the issue

I need to identify the axle I have. I’m not convinced it’s a shoebox axle but I don’t know enough about it to identify it. I’m going to measure it all up tomorrow and have a scrape around for any numbers on it. Thanks everyone, I’ll let you know what I find and see if we can work out what it is.

Right I’ve done some measuring and scraped a load of muck off it all.
the axle is 53” wide, diff ratio is 3.72. Front loader, welded axle tubes not push fit and diff housing has these numbers on it.
    1A4025A and 16
does this sound like it’s stock 50 shoebox ore something ells...
