    2005 Billing - missing cars

I spent last night watching the 2005 Billing Fun Run DVD and I noticed how many great cars are not coming to events any more. It seems a lot of people build a car, come to the events for a couple of years and then disappear. I looked up quite a few of the registration numbers on DVLA and many of these cars are still taxed or the log books haven't changed hands in a very long time. So presumably people are still using their cars. What do you think the reasons are for not coming to the events any more?

They change hands & the new owners either store them away or don't attend shows, like a certain A40 van!!!!!

If they all turned up there wouldn't be enough room!! And that's just the cars, what about the folks who come and go too (said he with rather guilty smile)?

And while we're at it, and I'm being all youthful using de app, wheres the smileys etc on de app, or is that old hat or whatever is the latest, trendy expression for being out of date? Heck, no point in asking something like that here, ha ha.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Yep it makes you wonder what happens to them all just go back and flick through some old mags. One that sticks in my mind was a chevy custom built by Paul Burnham and crew displayed at Knebworth I don't think I ever saw it again, could of been bad timing on my part.
