Interested to see more when you have it home, that engine is a long way back.
Looks like a good starting point.
Cheers

That's one hell of a set back on the engine, how far back do you sit?
Looks like a promising project.

I have had a few people contact me with some history of the car (keep it coming), I would like to get as much info as I can.
The van was first rodded by Vince Caira from Leslie m8.
was originally red with a hot 16 crossflow (others said it had a 13xf and a 2.0 as well), 105e back axle and viva ha front.
Euan mackenzie built the chassis and fitted the jag rear and windsor motor.
leepop633 - Ive seen alot worse to I have read your re-build, lol. (taking shape now though)
40Stude - the front edge of the seat is in line with the rear of the front door!!! not to much load space left, lol
Hillbillywill - Shhhh. lol, may need one of your lockups soon lol.

Funny how things work out.
I just finished my last post and a mail came in from Vince the origoinal owner/builder, He sent me these pics which sorts out the question if it was the coca cola van or not
also its still got the same wheels they have just had the centers painted black to highlight the dish
cheers

Thanks Scottie
I have found out a little more about the Van.
It was featured on the cruise for charity run john o grotes to lands end about 1985, it still had a 1600 & 105E axle at this point.
The 351 engine/box came from a Mercury Montego
