We are sorry to report that there will be no chips this year…
For those of you that are AGM regulars, the chips at The Bell are one of the highlights of the day. Ohh, and so are the sausage rolls!

But on a more serious note, it will come as little surprise that the ongoing Covid-19 situation and social distancing restrictions will affect this year’s club AGM.

We are mindful that we are constitutionally bound to hold an AGM in November each year, but due to the unprecedented circumstances, this makes that requirement impossible to fulfil.

We are therefore asking members for their agreement to suspend the requirement to hold an AGM for 2020.

The NSRA are still able to fulfil their obligation to provide a statement of accounts, a report of activities for the financial year and a membership update to all members electronically. Members will be sent an email containing the statement of accounts and reports, along with confirmation of the final Committee nominations. You will be asked to complete a survey as part of this email to elect the Committee for 2021.

If you have any objections to the suspension of the constitutional requirement to hold an AGM, please contact the NSRA Secretary at email hidden; JavaScript is required or in writing at 45 Honey Lane, Buntingford, Herts, SG9 9BQ no later than 18 October 2020.

The full details are presented in your upcoming issue of Street Gasser including the Committee nominations for 2021.
